March Reading Wrap-up
April is here, which means it’s time to look at my March Reading Wrap-up. January was still my best reading month in terms of volume, but I read some amazing books in March, so I’m completely fine having a smaller amount read.

March was another month where my writing got prioritized over reading. It was totally worth it because I finished the first draft of my fourth book! What’s funny is that I honestly thought I was reading more this month but ended up with the same amount of books as February.
I’ve read 37 books in total this year, so I’m definitely going to hit my yearly goal of 50 if I keep this pace. Four of the ten books I read this month were client books, and the other six were personal reading. As mentioned in previous wrap-ups, the client books aren’t counted in the page count, ratings, or genre breakdown on StoryGraph.
I had three five-star reads this month with A Gentleman’s Gentleman, Say a Little Prayer, and Can’t Get Enough. Can’t Get Enough might just be my favorite I’ve read this year, but I’ll wait till the end of the year to make any sweeping statements like that.
I’m happy that I’m still making time for nonfiction reads as I wanted to increase the amount of nonfiction I read this year. Relationship Goals wasn’t for me, but All About Love was a really interesting read that I still haven’t been able to wrap my mind around to review.
I also want to try to squeeze in an audiobook in April because I like to vary the formats I’m reading. And audiobooks are perfect when I’m exercising instead of just listening to music.

I finished four of the books on my March TBR, which isn’t bad, but I think I can do better in April. I did start Grown Women and I Think They Love You, so I’d like to finish them in April because I’m really vibing with them both. I didn’t get to A Legend in the Baking and Faye and the City in the Sea, so I’m going to take Faye off my TBRs until after Black Romance Book Fest.
